The KIAPALNO bike is easy to assemble if you have the six tools required in the enclosed instruction book. Patience is also a nice accessory…take your time and be deliberate. The missing required tool is an air pump.The brakes and shifter need adjustment after assembly. Do not ride without getting the bike tuned! .The frame is light and sturdy, and the tires work well for most urban and suburban trekking. The other components are serviceable, so feel free to make it your own with upgrades. I added pedals, a rear rack and mirrors right away. My favorite feature is the kickstand mounted on the rear tire axle. No more tripping over the pedals when it’s parked. My least favorite are the pedals…there are replacement pedals on AMZN that should be larger and more durable. Go ahead and order them at the same time, if you buy the bike. You’ll see what I mean when you open the bike. The urban signal bell is very dainty, but a nice touch.If you are not inclined, just let someone build it for you…it comes well-packed in a flat box for the container shipping. Do what you can and roll it to your nearest bike shop for final tuning/lube of the shifters and front brakes. Essentially, the front tire is disconnected for packing and the handlebars and seat need to be fitted. Lube the chain and sprockets with WD-40 or the like, pump up the tires and you are generally ready to ride. For the pre-tariff price of under $200.00 at the time of this writing, it’s relatively solid quality for the average rider. It’s a serviceable value for the average adult rider around town.
