I liked how transparent this stuff is. I have a bunch of cerwin vega speakers and I like the look of the red surround and want to be able to see them through the cloth, i still can see them easily with this cloth. It’s strong yet transparent enough to see through them plus the sound won’t get muddied from thick cloth. I bought 3 total packages and did all my speakers I have downstairs. I pack did 2 huge 12″ or 15″ cerwin vega speaker grills or probably 4-6 studio monitors or bookshelf speakers. Great product and fast shipping. It’s nice that it’s thin so you won’t have alot of material to fold and glue, it holds nicely. I used 3035 speaker glue and it grabs almost instantly but can be repositioned if needed. It was a fun yet rewarding job. I love the new look now I can see my speakers through the covers. I noticed more modern speakers use a lighter material like this vs old vintage speakers seemed to use a heavy material that almost certainly would muddy the sound? I know my old material held a cigarette smell from the previous owner. This is so light I can’t imagine it would hold a smell. I’m very happy with it. For some reason, my pics wouldn’t upload.
