Description Flavour Profile Dark amber in color it has a rich and sultry flavour profile – full-bodied, reminiscent of golden syrup with molasses tones​​ and a bitter sweetness. Aromas of bush blossom and a syrup-like consistency. Origin It is a mono-floral honey produced from the flower of the Coastal Blackbutt (Eucalyptus Todtiana) known by the indigenous people as “Dwutta”. This tree is endemic to the Southwest Australia Biodiversity Hotspot and flowers in the Australian summer months of December to February.  Medicinal Properties This honey is filled with beneficial properties. It is very high in antioxidants (20 times the antioxidant levels of other honeys). And also has high antibacterial and antimicrobial activity – with an independently laboratory tested Total Activity level of 15 . It is also filled with prebiotics which are good for gut health.
